The Camco Propane Double-Stage Auto-Changeover Regulator is for RVs with dual propane tank hookups. It maintains a constant gas pressure and automatically changes from the empty tank to the full one. It allows for the removal of the empty cylinder for refill without interrupting the propane supply. The inlet is a 1/4 in. SAE inverted flare and the outlet is a 3/8 in. NPT female.

- For RVs with dual propane tanks. Automatically switches from primary to reserve tank when primary is empty

Q: I realize this is intended for RV propane tanks, but if I have a tiny home that runs a single 80000 btu tankless water heater, could I use this for 2 40# propane tanks?

Q: In a Rv is this reg. Runs over 11 to be able to run a high btu furnous. And dorsnt lock up when it get to the frezzing mark and below like notmal regs. Need this asked adap please . Am trying to find a new reg.setup to put on my RV. Thanks

Q: Can I in theory use 2 (40#) Propane tanks to operate my generator? So when one tank goes empty it will switch to the full one? Correct?

Dual propane regulators are the only way to go. You don’t have to worry about manually changing tanks over and if you need to fill a tank you don’t run out of gas. The other tank can remain in place and continue working normally.
