Q: Is this a hitch extension? What size hitch does it fit into?

  • A: Yes, It would be welded in place on the non- collar end and the towing mount would be secured on the collar end with the hitch pin . The length allows towing mount to be distanced from the trailer you mount to

Good but not for me

Evidently this tube requires the buyer drill the hole for the hitch pin, and I decided not to do that. Otherwise, it looked very well made and reasonably priced.

Yes, I recommend this product.
