The Carry-On Trailer 42 x 13-1/2 in. Gooseneck Hitch Plate with 2-5/16 in. Ball features an all-steel assembly that bolts to your truck frame and body. If you have a structural steel bed, you can also weld the hitch plate to the bed floor. These Gooseneck hitches allow you to add extra towing capacity to your truck by transferring part of the load to the front axle. The hitch plate tool is rated up to 25,000 lb.

I bought this hitch for my truck a few months ago. I was in an accident this past November with the same truck while towing a gooseneck neck over with a dodge pick up on it. The hitch stayed exactly where I mounted it to the frame and it didn't bend at all. If this hitch had defected in any way me, my wife, and my children would have been hurt a lot more than we were. I owe my children's life to this hitch and this company. You have a customer for life.

Works well in a pickup bed. Came with no instructions at all. Will need reinforcement to be used on a chassis cab truck. Mine had too much flex without a center support

Worked well for me.

Easy assembly on my truck.  Welded it all together to angle and through bolted the frame. Added some bar stock to strengthen and keep from flexing.
