The BulletProof Hitches 2.5 in. Shank Extreme Duty Receiver Shackle uses a solid steel shank with a 1-1/4 in. shackle to securely attach a rope, strap, or chain to your vehicle. It features four different pin holes that allow the user to set the shackle in the direction they need to. The design allows this extreme duty shackle to be used in both horizontal and vertical orientations and can be useful in extended or recessed positions.

  • Receiver shackle rated to 36,000 pounds
  • Comes standard with one hardened BulletProof heat treated corrosion resistant pin and R-clip
  • For vehicles with stock bumpers the optional orientations allow for more of the shank to fit in the receiver opening
  • Additional pinhole towards the end of the shank can give you another 1-1/2 in. of extension for vehicles with aftermarket bumpers
  • Weight capacity remains the same with any of the pin holes, in any orientation
  • Receiver shackle features the same textured black powder coat as our hitches
  • We highly recommend purchasing a locking pin to keep it safe and secure
