Bravecto Chews offer effective protection against fleas and ticks, helping to maintain your dog s health by preventing infestations.. These are designed as delicious chew treats instead of a topical treatment, featuring a palatable flavor to entice canines. After feeding, these pet flea and tick chews start protecting your dog in as little as 2 hours, and they offer long-lasting prevention for up to 12 weeks. Use these flea and tick chews for pets suffering from flea infestations or tick bites from black-legged ticks (deer ticks), American dog ticks and brown dog ticks, as well as lone star ticks.How it Works

Bravecto works by rapidly reaching tissue fluids under the dog's skin. Ticks and fleas die when they feed on your dog and ingest Bravecto. Bravecto chew is approved by the FDA.

Special Precautions

  • Bravecto should not be given to puppies under 6 months old or under 4.4 pounds.
  • Bravecto is not safe for human consumption.

Side Effects

The following adverse reactions and side effects have been reported:
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Hair Loss
  • Decrease of appetite
  • Excess thirst
  • Lethargy
  • Flatulence
  • Excessive thirst
Seizures have been reported in dogs receiving isoxazoline class drugs, even in dogs without a history of seizures. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders.

Side effects may last anywhere from 30 minutes to three hours, depending on which one your dog experiences. If your dog has side effects for an extended period of time, contact your veterinarian.

If you are worried about Bravecto chew interacting with other drugs your dog is currently taking or any allergies that may cause a reaction, discuss these issues with your veterinarian before using.

There are no known contraindications for the use of the product.

Storage

Don't store Bravecto chew above 86°F (30°C). Store in a dry and cool environment.

Tips

Bravecto chew should be given to your dog with a meal. Be sure to thoroughly wash your hands using soap and water after handling.

  • Rx only
  • Sold in 12-week doses with 1 pet flea and tick chew per package, with packages color-coded to your dog's weight: Yellow (112.5 mg dose) for dogs 4.4 to 9.9 lb., Orange (250 mg dose) for dogs 9.9 to 22 lb., Green (500 mg dose) for dogs 22 to 44 lb., Blue (1,000 mg dose) for dogs 44 to 88 lb. and Pink (1,400 mg dose) for dogs 88 to 123 lb.
  • Oral chew prevents flea infestations and kills fleas and a variety of tick types, including black-legged ticks (deer ticks), American dog ticks and brown dog ticks, for 12 weeks, as well as lone star ticks for 8 weeks
  • Long-lasting, powerful and fast-acting medication approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
  • First and only U.S. product that protects against Asian long horned ticks for up to12 weeks
  • Takes only 2 hours to start killing fleas after administering
  • Palatable flavored chews are easy to give to dogs, making for a mess-free alternative to spot treatments
  • Only use on dogs ages 6 months or older and weighing at least 4.4 lb.; not shown to be effective for 12 weeks in dogs younger than 6 months
  • Safe-to-use formula means you won't have to isolate your pet from others after treating
