    This bit was great is old studs that were quite hard. Stayed sharp for many holes.

    I use these bits exclusively for my wood drilling needs as a contractor. My electrician needed a bit one day and I gave him my 5/8" daredevil and he use the heck out of it that day and went out and bought a whole set and gave me a new one along with the one he used. The used one still cut great.

    Where was this bit 10 years ago when I started as an electrician. It makes quick work of wooden framing members new and old. Fast and tough. My old style spade bits are never used anymore.
