The Barrette Outdoor Living Slide Bar Latch is easy to install with manual-latching operation. The fence gate latch is made of steel with a superior coating to withstand extreme weather conditions. Works best with vinyl, wood, aluminum and steel gates. These locking gate latches accept padlocks for additional securityLimited Lifetime

  • Fence gate latch designed for wood gates, metal gates, or vinyl gate applications
  • Kit includes 1 slide bar, 1 latch bracket, 1 catch bracket, 2 bracket plates, 1 latch guide, 1 latch stop, and four 1 in. self-drilling Phillips screws
  • Easy installation on posts with 1-1/2 in. or larger post dimension and gates with 1-1/2 in. or larger gate upright
  • Made out of powder-coated steel, which has been ASTM B117 Salt-Spray tested and passed
  • Accepts a padlock to become a locking gate latch

    Size shown was incorrect

    The TS website advertised this latch as 5'x1.25"x10". When we received it, it was about half the size indicated and therefore unusable.

    No, I do not recommend this product.
