The Boehringer Ingelheim Triangle 10 HB Cattle Vaccine is a killed virus vaccine used as an aid in preventing disease caused by bovine virus diarrhea (BVD) Types 1 and 2, infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV), parainfluenza-3 (PI3), Leptospira pomona, L. hardjo, L. grippotyphosa, L. canicola and L. icterohaemorrhagiae. Triangle 10 HB cattle vaccines now include Lepto hardjo-bovis (HB) protection. These cow vaccines are formulated with Enhance, a unique dual adjuvant system that improves immune response and vaccine effectiveness. Includes enough for 10 doses.

- Dosage and administration: Administer cow vaccines to cattle of all ages and stages of production, including pregnant cattle; shake well; inject one 5 mL dose intramuscularly or subcutaneously using aseptic technique; repeat in 14 to 28 days

- Calves vaccinated under six months of age should be revaccinated at six months of age

Q: If I change brands of cattle vaccines, is it necessary to start over with the initial dose followed by a second dose 3 weeks later, and then annual boosters of 1 shot? I've been using Vira Shield 6vl5 hb, a killed vaccine.
