The Blue Seal Field and Farm Llama/Alpaca Pellet Feed is formulated for llamas and alpacas in all life stages, including reproduction, growth, work and maintenance. The alfalfa in the llama pellet feed provides a palatable fiber source and a palatable design that maintains consistent feed intake. Plus, vitamin E and selenium aid in preventing white muscle disease. The llama feed pellets are cut short in length (1/4 in. to 3/8 in.) to minimize the risk of choking. Available in a 50 lb. bag, this feed provides a long-lasting supply. Please note that this formula contains supplemental copper; do not feed to sheep.

  • Llama/alpaca feed is high in alfalfa to provide a palatable fiber source
  • Llama/alpaca pellets are very palatable to maintain consistent feed intake

Excellent Alpaca Feed

Beats the heck out of other brands locally available. These pellets are smaller and more palatable than Bar Ale brand, less expensive than the stuff our veterinarian imports from Oregon, doesn’t choke our alpacas, and they love it. (So does our goat and dogs)

The size of the pellet makes a difference! There is less choke on the smaller size according to my experience (25 years). I like this grain and the price is not bad. I only wish my local TSC could get their order in!! I have been waiting a month! TSC main warehouse seems to have problems getting this product to the stores. Sad. They are losing sales every day that they do not have it!
