The clamp clasps that hold to your pants are very light guage metal, and they bend easily. Mine failed the second time I used them. The clips won't stay closed.

Nice elastic, bad metal

I bought 2 of these and returned both. On one, the clasp that grabs the pants failed as I was trying them on. The metal teeth bent, they folded over. On the other, the clasp that adjusts the tension did the same. I was trying to tighten the suspenders and the teeth bent and I couldn't get the clasp to take. It just slid lose. The elastic suspenders were actually nice. Too bad they used cheap metal clasps.
