The Black Talon Universal Replacement Tractor Seat with Adjustable Suspension is perfect for virtually any piece of agricultural machinery. It features a heavy-duty vinyl cover over a high-density, molded cushion. An adjustable-weight suspension over the steel tractor seat frame and an adjustable-angle base enable customized comfort. My HI140 Farmall does not fit the seat . After installation it was too far forward. I was unable get on the tractor behind the steering wheel.
You need to tell buyers on which tractors it works.
As it was a gift I did every thing I could in the machine shop designing a support part which fit perfectly. The seat functions as designed; however the OEM seat sits rearward allowing room for My legs.

I purchased this seat to replace the original seat on my Ford 601. I use the tractor for mowing about 3 acres, and over the years the original seat left me 'beat up from the feet up' so I decided to replace it with this seat. After mowing today for the first time with the new seat, I am beyond impressed with the comfort and stability I felt over the original pan type seat. This seat mounted easilly to my tractor, the adjustments in both forward/backward, back rest adjustment and weight compensation made this the most comfortable mowing I have done in years. The seat is taller than original, but at 6'1" that is a blessing, and by moving the seat back, no leg cramps. Very comfortable

I purchased this seat to replace the OEM seat on a subcompact Massey. The short wheel base of the tractor caused a lot of jarring while mowing. The bolt patterns of the Talon seat didn’t match the original, but after shimming the new seat plate, I was able to mount the seat with 2 diagonal bolts. The thickness of the mounting plate makes alterations difficult, but the seat is mounted firmly and is quite the back saver. Mowing is now a pleasure again!
