Bug Zapper

Hung it in my backyard and it has been getting a lot of bug traffic. The only problem is that it has accumulated quite a bit of bug matter in the first four days of use so I am going to have to do a bit of cleaning. Time will tell how long it lasts and how effective it is overall.

Outdoors use for big bugs

I have a gnat and small moth problem that started in my garage on my honeybee equipment. This zapper didn't catch much. The electrified wires are far apart and only caught big moths. Also, there's no cover on the bottom so if you set it on a picnic table there will be bugs left behind when you pick it up.
I replaced with a smaller zapper that had tight zap wires and a catch-bottom. Works so much better for my needs.

I bought it to help with some Asian Beetles that have gotten in the house this last year and it has worked on a few. I plan to put it outdoors once I am confident my indoor problem is solved.

Is it supposed to "zap"...."snap".....or "crackle".....at ALL?? If so.....it's defective. Hasn't killed a single knat. That's 3 for 3 Tractor......you're losing us.
