Biohort Equipment Locker 230, 7.5 x 2.7 x 6ft., Dark Gray with Floor Kit

Just finished assembling this shed last weekend. We had very specific dimension restrictions in the space we wanted to locate a shed, desired metal construction, and high-quality construction that we were happy to pay a bit more for if it would last us a long long time. After several hours of searching the internet we stumbled upon this offering from the European based manufacturer, imported by tractor supply! VERY HAPPY we did. The shed comes shipped in 4-5 boxes carefully packed on a 6ft long pallet. We opted for home delivery, which occurs via a 3rd party shipper, in our case XPO. If you had two people and a wide enough bed vehicle you could also do local pickup at tractor supply. The largest box is around 6ft long, 4ft wide, and 5-6" tall. Second box is roughly that same size, and the other two were smaller. The heaviest individual box was around 120lbs. Assembly went very smooth overall and took us 5-6 hrs at a relaxed pace. Definite 2-person job unless you want to double/triple the amount of time and drive yourself crazy trying to line things up to fit or inventing ways to hold nuts in place on the other side of metal walls while you attempt to screw in from the other side. The instructions come in several languages and also include instructions within each step for the other size shed variants, so make sure you closely read the legend at the beginning which explains symbols that mean you should ignore those instructions for the 230, etc etc. And double check these symbols as you go along each step so you avoid attempting an installation step that isn't applicable for your shed model and losing each mini debate with your wife... I mean assistant. :D The care of the packaging, quality of the instructions, and the attention to detail were all top notch overall, very impressed. Overall I obviously haven't had the shed long enough to evaluate it through multiple seasons. However since this shed is replacing a metal shed we've had in place for about 20 years, i can already tell this shed's constructions quality, metal thickness/etc is on par or even superior in some ways to our now recycled shed that served us well for 2 decades. The only downside I can think of, is since this is an import from an Austrian company, I'm not sure there is an easy way to order the additional/optional shelving/storage accessories that biohort offers if you wanted to add more identical shelves/etc. Shouldn't be hard to add additional shelving/etc ourselves but they obviously won't match. Minor aesthetic nitpick really. TBH I suppose I could even send Biohort an email and ask, as that is how we found their offering on tractor supply in the first place. I sent them an email via their website and got a customer support response within 1 business day. So customer support is very real with this company too. Always a plus.
