- A: Hello, the answer is no, our hydraulic bottle jack or long ram will not work on this log splitter because it will leak oil and it looks like it wouldn’t fit anyways. I have asked one of our engineers and they told me that we don’t recommend to use it in horizontal position because all the hydraulic oil fluid will leak out and none of our hydraulic bottle jacks can’t be used in a horizontal position.9 years agoHelpful?

Great value for the money

I purchased this product after trying several other jacks from other local stores. It works just great at half the price of the competition. I was able to do almost impossible tasks with it. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an inexpensive jack of this size.

Not as durable as it looks

Price and capacity was great so I bought this to keep under the seat of my truck. First time to use it, it tipped over before loading weight on it. Out popped a tack-welded seal on the cylinder side-wall. Fluid drained out and hole could not be resealed. It might have been a one-time deal, but I needed it that one time ! Cheap manufacturing quality and standards. Can't give less than 1-Star, but useless is really ZERO.
