The lightweight bottle jack is ideal for lifting farm vehicles, heavy-duty machinery, industrial construction equipment and more. This powerful hydraulic welded jack has a high-quality glide-action pressure pump designed to lift with minimal muscle and effort. The robotically welded inner/outer structure and drop forged steel construction will keep your jack leak free and will give an overall stronger build. An integrated built-in oil-bypass and overload valve protects the hydraulic system from extending beyond its travel limits. The treated cylinder rams give this bottle jack a longer lasting seal life for increased performance. Great for military applications, agricultural and industrial atmospheres, where equipment receives heavier abuse. This unit is 100% factory tested for reliability and safety to meet ASME safety standards.

Q: Can this Jack be used horizontally?

A: Hello, thank you for your question. Per the manual, "This Bottle Jack is designed for lifting. The jack can be used vertically or angled to 3 degrees from vertical position. After lifting, loads must be immediately supported by jack stands. Each model is suitable for use in lifting or positioning vehicles, machinery, houses and/or other building structures. These jacks comply with ASME PASE Standards."

Q: Is it possible to unscrew the cap on the top of the jack? I have a puck to raise my EV and the diameter on top of the jack is too wide for the puck.

Q: the manual says this jack must be lubricated with hydraulic jack oil. Does the unit come already filled with jack oil - or must it be added to use for the first time?

Q: I ordered this - because the specs say base width 10 inches. The actual width of the bottom of the unit is 5 1/4 inches and the length (height)of the unit is more like 9 inches. Please expain the 10 inch spec?

A: The stroke of this Hydraulic Welded Bottle Jack can be divided into two parts. One is the piston, the stroke of this part is 150 mm. The other part is that top screw part, it can be lifted by 80 mm.

Q: What diameter is the ram?

A: The top of the ram is 1 and 1/8 inches. The cylinder raising that top is slightly wider at 1.25 inches. The base of the unit is roughly 3.5" x 4.5" and is approximately 9" tall before raising ram.

Compact size, but rated for 12T, much more than I actually need. Having said that, enabled me to change my travel tire in my driveway without any difficulty at all. I’m completely satisfied with the quality construction of the product, and the ease of use. Overall, a great product for the price and now, an indispensable part of my load plan for my camper.

purchased the 12 ton jack for use in our RV obviously not heavily used. Purchased about a year ago. went to use it 2 days ago and once the load was on it it did not lift. went to the Scarborough Maine store to exchange it. The store clerk/ manager asked me if it was under 30 days, or we Purchased a extended warrantee. we did not. all they said was there was nothing they could do. not a big ticket item but to be used in an emergency only to not work. Disappointed in the Jack and Tractor supply
