Our OG Collection has been the core of the company since 2002. This Best Ever Pads OG Saddle Pad is a top quality 100% needle-punched F11 grade wool pad that is 112 oz. per square yard, making it firm, durable and breathable. This saddle pad is dark gray in color, and comes in either 3/4 or 1 thicknesses, to best suit your needs. The needle punched refers to wool that is made by vertically needling fibers together to achieve a desired thickness and density. When viewing a cross-section of needled punched, the fibers lay vertically, as opposed to pressed felt, where the fibers lay horizontally.

    Pads are fantastic but no consistency in thickness

    I loved the first pad I ordered and it was 1 1/4" thick. I liked it so much that I ordered a second one. Even though I ordered the same exact size and color, the second one was only an inch thick. There are no clear details about thickness when you're ordering these pads. I ordered an OG not knowing which thickness I would get. It was an inch. I love the Kush pads better than the OG but it is still new and may break in better.

    Doesn’t feel like my other best ever pads.

    Doesn’t feel like my other best ever pads. The wither cutout seems like there’s a stitching error of some kind. Almost feels like these are best ever pads that didn’t make the cut so they got sent to tractor supply site to sell. I can’t keep this pad from pushing on my horses withers, it is also a stiffer pad.
