Everything about it is great, but plan on a little shrinkage when it's washed. Choose a roomy size.

This hooded sweatshirt fits true to size. I am a large and it fits as so. The ribbed cuffs and ribbed bottom are nice and tight to keep air from making it's way in. The zipper is metal, but zipper tracks are plastic. It zips up and down smoothly, but can melt in a hot dryer. The shell definitely feels a bit lighter than I was expecting. Unlike some other zip up hooded sweatshirts I've owned in the past such as the Rain Defender made by another company, this one definitely feels lighter in material being that the outer shell is 9oz. The inner lining is very reminiscent of a thin cotton thermal long sleeve that you'd wear as a base layer underneath your dress shirts. Overall it's a decent sweater that will keep you warm and good to layer up underneath. But if you were expecting that heavy feeling quality sweatshirt and something that would feel like your wearing a heater over your body, I'd look into buying something with at least 11-12oz outer shell.
