The Bekaert 330 ft. x 47 in. Gaucho Pro High-Tensile Field Fence features a flexible hinge joint with high-strength high-tensile steel wire. Compared to low carbon fencing, this Gaucho field fence installs faster with fewer posts, and it retains its shape with less ongoing maintenance concerns. Gradual openings at the bottom of the high-tensile field fence deter small animals, and the Class 3 coating will last at least 20 years. This field fence has 12.5 ga. filler wire and 10.5 ga. top and bottom wire.

- A: The height of this product is okay but the spacing between the fence openings is of concern for horses. Typically we recommend a smaller opening 2 or 4" or 12", and not 6".4 years agoHelpful?
Q: How is this for hilly terrain and steep valleys ? Would wire have to be cut and spliced ?

- A: Our Gaucho Pro High Tensile Field Fence will work will over hilly terrain and steep valleys. You do not need to cut or splice the over these dips. Here are some things to keep in mind as you install your woven wire fence: - Build good braces. They are the most important part of the fence. - Place a post in the bottom of each dip and at the top of each rise. - When tensioning, check the tension in the dips to be sure you can pull it down to fasten. If the fence is too tight, you won’t be able to pull it down into the dip. - Fasten the high spots first, leaving the staple a little loose. This allows the wire to slide behind it. - Pull down into the dips next and fasten. - Fasten the rest of the fence. This method will take a little longer, but will make the wire follow the terrain.5 years agoHelpful?
