First Time Cast Ironer

Decided to try cast iron for the first time. Always resisted because rust and heavy weight. Needed a new way to make cornbread for rice/beans and gumbo dinners. Very happy with results. Pan is great size and cooks better than glass dishes. Happy!

This is a very nice pan. Good weight, feels sturdy and well made. It came pre-seasoned, but I cleaned and re-seasoned it anyway. Then I made a meatloaf and casserole in it. Don’t hesitate to try this brand out, it’s a great piece of cookware!

The Bayou Clasic Cast Iron Bakeware Dish is great. It is preseasoned and bakes great. We have baked some cornbread in it and are very happy with it.

Oh how I love cast iron. This one is perfect. It came already seasoned and ready to bake. It baked my cake perfectly and.didnt stick at all. The clean up was so easy. Just some hot soapy water and let it dry.
