    Defective out of the box

    This is the second heater I have purchased (identical models), so I'm very familiar with them. This heater has a problem with either the thermocouple or the valve. As long as I hold the valve in place, the pilot light stays lit. Even after 5 minutes, if I release the valve, the pilot goes out. I have swapped propane sources between the two identical units; no difference.

    Works if you are sitting under it. Not really if more than 5 feet away. But great for one or two people.
