Terrible tk return

We put the furniture together and realized that the support legs were missing on the table and one leg was damaged. I called the store and they told me you cannot get the items separate. I have to order and pay for another patio set to get the items and then try to return the set. I don't understand why they can't order it and get the items out instead of more money out of my pocket.
