Comfortable unless you have larger calves

I'm a repeat Ariat shoe/boot buyer, and these are almost perfect, except if you have larger/muscular calves. The higher boot is more comfortable than the classic Chelsea height (for me) and lets me walk with a more normal gait, but even though the stretch at the top allows the boot to fit, my calf sticks out over the top and doesn't look good. If Ariat ever makes this style with a bit more room at the top, that would be wonderful.

So comfortable and supportive! Love that they're both stylish AND waterproof! I'm usually a 7.5/8 and the 8s fit great with athletic socks.

Comfy cozy supportive Boot!

I like the look of boots but hesitate to wear those with hard soles or pointy toes for foot health reasons. I bought a pair of boots before from Ariat and they were extremely comfortable and yet still supportive of my quirky little feet. So I took another look and found this Chelsea boot! A bit stiff at first but it never made my feet sore. Even wore them to work and felt good!

Beautiful boot - but the fit isn’t good for me

I’ve been a fan of Ariat’s Nitro paddock boot for years, but I decided to try the Wexford Lug Mid Waterproof Chelsea boot this time. It’s a beautiful boot but it’s not for me! The higher shafts hit my calves at an awkward place and felt too tight and uncomfortable. I also felt a little clunky in the lug sole. I guess I might have gotten used to the fit eventually, but I decided to return them.

No, I do not recommend this product.
