Pants are thick enough to give structure, but have room for stretch. They seem like a good all-weather material, and I could probably I am typically a 4 - 5'6" / 31 inseam / 27" waist / 39" hip. I ordered the 27 Short, and I'd rate the fit a 90%. The length is perfect for wearing with sneakers in the lab. Pockets are functional and deep, so deep that my phone fits entirely inside and i have to dig it out. The rise feels like a high rise, my only complaint is that I wish there was a smaller waist to hip ratio. The belt loops do a good job of wrangling the waist in, but there is a lot of gapping in the back waist without a belt on me. I am glad that I checked the inseam details on these pants, because I have always been a regular or long inseam at other stores. Ariat inseams seem to run very long (great if you are tall) but I was shocked that I am considered short at Ariat.

Great fit, comfy, and thick enough to last. Only thing they need is the phone pocket on the thigh.

I love these pants. I found them to be true to size. Super comfortable. I have a few pairs of these. Very durable. 10/10
