I bought these and the slim rail straight, these seem to run a bit bigger than the slim rail straight and both seem to run larger than other pants I've bought. Besides that, these are the best jeans I've ever had. Very toug, I don't have to worry about messing them up at work and that says a lot with what I do. Besides the waist being a bit large, the cut is great. I'm 175, 6'1 very athletic and these pants are perfect for the bending crouching and crazy positions I find my self in for work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made the mistake of relying on Ariat’s recommended sizing tool when ordering jeans to wear with cowboy boots. I usually wear a 32” inseam, but the recommended size didn’t account for the extra length needed when wearing boots. After trying and returning a few pairs, I learned that your ideal inseam should be 33” to 34” if you’re 6’0” tall, wear slim or straight-leg jeans, and plan to wear them with cowboy boots. That extra inch gives you the perfect look: • Covers the boot shaft • Stacks slightly over the vamp (top of the foot) • Falls mid-to-low on the heel without dragging on the ground If you’re wearing non-bootcut jeans like slim or straight styles, that little extra length makes all the difference in avoiding the high-water look.
