Ariat Men's Big Rig Composite Toe Waterproof Work Boots, 8 in.

This is my second pair of Ariat work boots. I upgraded this time to the Big Rig primarily because it can be re-soled. It is true to size and required almost no break in time. I am on my feet a lot on a wide variety of terrain and in harsh conditions. These boots are comfortable provide great foot and ankle support. The tread design resists clogging up, cleans out easily and I don’t track much of the outdoors in with me. The toe box is roomy but not so much that my feet slide around. The one big bonus that I did not notice when I ordered is the side zipper, very convenient and designed to be watertight.

These boots have all the features needed to keep me safe, dry and protected while doing trail work in our state parks. From cutting down trees to clearing debris and crossing streams, I am never worried about an issue with these boots.

Out of the box they felt heavy but once worn a few days I got use to the weight but they felt great from the moment I put them on. They needed no break in time. The zip up sides made them extremely easy to take off and put on. I’ve only had them a couple of weeks so we will see how they hold up to the oils I work with that get on them constantly.

I am very pleased with the 4E width of this boot. I have wide feet along with arthritis and these boots keep my feet comfortable. I like the quality of the boot and have owned several pairs of boots from Ariat in the past
