API ALGAEFIX algae control effectively controls many types of algae in aquariums and will not harm to your fish or plants when used as directed. You can use ALGAEFIX algae control as part of your aquarium maintenance routine to control the formation of new algae. Weekly doses will control algae growth and reduce aquarium maintenance. CAUTION: Do not use with freshwater crustaceans including shrimp, crabs, and lobsters.
- Add 1 ml. for each 10 gallons or 5 ml. for each 50 gallons of aquarium water. Repeat dose every three days until algae is controlled. Siphon or scrape any dead algae from aquarium. Once algae growth is under control, add one dose per week. Weekly doses will control algae growth and reduce aquarium maintenance.
- Caution: Do not use with freshwater crustaceans, including shrimp, crabs and lobsters

The container is cool! Seems to work ok, I cant say it works perfect but it helped! I will try it again next time I can and see if it helps again too and see if it improves yet again but it helped this time!

Algae gone away! This helps to minimize the algae buildups that are seen around the fish tank. I have a lot of plants and guppies in the tank so it is extremely difficult to do a thorough cleanup.

When I start to use it, I'm supposed to use it every 3 days. After the first try, I was able to see the solution removing parts of the algae blotches. You can see that some of the stains were removed. Yes it's a very messy and not sustainable fish tank. I tried it two more times, and more stains removed. I'm assuming that this is getting controlled.
