Amoxi-Drop Oral Suspension is an FDA-approved, broad-spectrum antibiotic, indicated for the treatment of skin, urinary tract, gastrointestinal, soft tissue, and ear infections in cats and dogs. It is administered as drops and should be used according to veterinary instructions.How it Works

Amoxi-drop (amoxicillin) is an antibiotic that works by fighting and stopping infections caused by bacteria in the body. Post administration of the drug, the bacteria cease to be able to generate cell walls, which is an integral part of their lifecycle. This drastically inhibits their survival, putting an end to the infection.

Special Precautions

Keep out of reach of children. Do not give to animals that have not been prescribed this product.

Overdose Information

Immediately contact your closest emergency animal hospital or vet.

Side Effects

Contact your veterinarian right away if any of the following side effects occur:

  • Bloody diarrhea
  • Allergic reactions (shortness of breath; hives; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; rash, or fainting)
  • Seizures
  • Unusual bleeding or bruising
Less serious side effects may include:
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Abdominal pain
  • Yeast or fungal infections may occur. If infection is detected, please consult your veterinarian.


Storage

Store in a dry and cool environment. Do not exceed temperatures of 25°C (77°F). Note: Any unused portion of the reconstituted suspension must be discarded after 14 days. After mixing, refrigeration preferable, but not required.
