Ames Stainless Steel Gel Grip Hand Weeder

This weeder replaced an earlier similar version that disappeared! I love this weeder and use it for getting weeds out between concrete slabs, and digging roots out of the packed Arizona ground. I also use it for digging around roots when re-potting. The gel handle gives a good grip. Definitely recommend.

Best hand weeder and all-around garden tool

When the handle of my nearly-10-year-old Ames weeder broke, I panicked and bought the first weeder I could find in town. Big mistake! In less than a day, I was VERY motivated to find a proper replacement. Tractor Supply to the rescue! My old weeder never backed down from any weed (including monster hollyhocks and escaped parsnips). It was also my "micromanager" for positioning stones in paths and gardens. When we found that Tractor Supply carries this tool and my husband suggested I get two, you bet I jumped on that idea!
