- A: Hi Neighbor- To remove Alien tape from ceramic, first use a hairdryer to soften the adhesive, then slowly pull the tape off at a low angle. For stubborn residue, rub a small amount of cooking oil or acetone on the remaining adhesive and then wipe it clean.6 months agoHelpful?
