Q: What is the screen or mesh made of? Could an animal slash it if they have sharp claws?

My cat loves his new Catio
a year ago
My kitty is an indoor cat so loves to get out in his new catio. There are several levels so he can move to where he can see what is going on around him. There is an open ended box where he can get out of the wind or just lie down when he wants to. He goes out several times a day and is enjoying the birds and chipmonk that visit the feeders. He can sit on the bottom or climb up to another level as he wants.
The Catio is well made and Tractor Supply put this together for me. So my family just had to pick it up. There are locking wheels on the back so it isn't blown around by the wind. I am very pleased with it.

Worked great for my kitty. My kitty has adapted to this home since moving into the house. Had to add another shelf so he could have a heated cubby to sleep in but everything else has been great.
