This spreader contains a fully enclosed gear house for gear protection. - A: Thank you for your question. The spread width on this model is not adjustable in exact increments such as 5, 6, or 7 feet. Spread width is controlled by the flow setting and walking speed, and can range up to about 10 feet depending on material and conditions, but it is not calibrated to specific width settings.11 days agoHelpful?

Spread for years!

This agrifab spreader works awesome! There was some assembly once unboxed, but the directions were clear and took about 15 minutes. I spread fertilizer on my lawn with this and it went on even! I know this will last for years!

The product came well packaged. It does have some weight to it probably due to the wheels, maneuvers with ease, doesn't jam up or clogs, no maintenance yet but I'm sure once a year you have to air it up.

This push-behind spreader works well. I loaded it with grass seed, set it on level 4 (this level was suggested in the manual that came with it), and gave it a push. Be ready to start pushing as soon as you move the selection lever past 0; Moving the lever makes small material like grass seed immediately fall out the bottom of the hopper through the slot by the cotter pin!! **You'll need tools for assembly. I had two adjustable wrenches and a pliers handy.
