The extra heavy-duty post hole auger is for use with tractor mounted post hole diggers and skid steers with a 2" round shaft. This auger features thick 1/4 " flighting with more extensive welding and a reinforced input shaft collar. Features a Fish Tail Auger Point for more aggressive jobs on clay soil.

    Sturdy but wears faster

    Outside cutting blades wear flat pretty fast, wear is even but still no real biting in hard clay. Doesn’t dig in like the cheaper 6inch.
