I've done a pretty good amount of research on what a good kibble should be and from what I've seen this (regardless of flavor - which I occasionally switch up for fun) is basically the poster child of good dog food. More importantly - when I first got my rescue Boston Terrier and was desperately trying to figure out what was causing his skin, tummy and ear problems - the limited ingredients were invaluable. And I still choose this brand today, my best Pal is doing great with ACANA and it's my most trusted brand. Mars Brand - after your purchase - PLEASE keep this brand true to it's origin (no pun intended) as a lot pet parents really appreciate the care and quality of this food.

I recently noticed this food is 10% Ash. I’ll never buy it again and your Orijen options have too many proteins in a bag.

I stared with this brand a year ago, my golden doodle pup it’s been a picky eater since I got him at 8 weeks old, he hated the puppy version of this brand but as soon as he turned 1 yr old in January I stared his diet with a single ingredient, he tried beef and didn’t like it, he tried duck and pear recipe and was a hit, I switch his food with acaba singles lamb and apple 3/2 a week to have some variety, he loves it
