A: The main difference between Bute-Less Pellets and Bute-Less Solution is the form, depending on what fits into your horse's routine better. There is a difference in the level of Devil's Claw between the two. The pellets have 350 mg of Devil's Claw per serving, and the Solution has 954 mg per serving. This makes the solution a little stronger and work a little more quickly at the start. Some people use the Solution to start out, or on tougher days, then change to the pellets after and ongoing. All Bute-Less formulas are good to feed daily and on an ongoing basis.

If you're going to try it, start the Bute-Less daily 5-7 days before you go on a ride and keep him on it long-term for best results, as it takes a few days to build up in their system and is not fast-acting like an NSAID.
