ABSCO Regent 10 x 12ft. Metal Garden Storage Shed, Woodland Gray

These sheds are a nightmare to assemble. The instructions are awful. They're not user friendly at all. They bend just handling the parts. Panels don't stay fastened with the top rails when you have to move them for the final assembly. You need at least 2-3 people handling the materials with kid gloves because if you even look at them wrong they scratch. For the money these things suck. It'd be easier to stick build a shed. Terrible product. They should be banned for sale unless you really hate the guy you hire to build it.

This is a great value shed, once assembled it’s sturdy, roomy and stays dry and solid even through severe storms. Assembly is reasonably easy, it took me a day of assembling all the panels by myself then a couple of hours with the assistance of a few family members to erect it. The instructions are ok but could go into a little more detail, however if you read them closely and re-read them, they will tell you what you need to know for pretty much every part. The panels feel quite flimsy when being assembled, however when the shed is fully built they lock together to form a nice sturdy structure. Finally the holes for screwing the panels together don’t always line up perfectly - I ended up using the hole in the top panel as a guide and just punching a new hole through the panel underneath to keep them perfectly aligned. This really isn’t much of a problem at all as long as you have a good cordless drill, and you’d be mad to try to assemble a shed without one anyway. The brace piece between the roof and front panel broke when I was bending it to shape but I’ve requested a replacement from Absco and the shed is still solid without it in the meantime. It could also come with more screws, if you drop a few you’ll end up needing to buy some extras, but that’s only a few $. Overall though these are minor gripes and this is a solid, attractive shed for the price. I highly recommend buying the optional skylight panels as well, I added a couple and they let in plenty of light.

An Australian product but Inhad no idea about any of that. Just wanted a 10x12 shes. Ordered this product and was charged $200 to ship it to a store. OK --it is rather heavy, so I can live with that. After pouring my pad, I laid out all the pieces and discovered I was missing one of the channels right out of the box. i got in touch with the manufacturer on a Friday evening/ Saturday morning their time, and waited over a weekend in vain for an email from them so that I could provide the receipt to start the process. Called again on their Tuesday morning/our Monday afternoon-- as they are in Australia, and was told that the first person I spoke to is working on it. Three more days go by still no email. Call the manufacturer again and get someone who corresponds with me via email, receives my reply in real time with my receipt and some requested photos--so the process marches on again. About a day later I hear that there are no spare parts in the United States and that they will have to manufacturer this single part in Australia and ship it to me. No idea how long this will take. Meanwhile my concrete pad and the other assembled shed panels wait in my yard for this final part. Buyer beware. Maybe choose a manufacturer on this side of the international date line.

Went together as planned and is strong and sturdy. Great shed. Would recommend.
