    A: No, it is not. Abbott Rubber Series 1159 is designed for that application.

Q: Can I connect this hose to my washer to drain the water?The hose that I have now is too short.

    A: This hose may work in application, but it will have to be a straight run or the hose will kink. There are more options in smaller diameters: https://www.abbottrubber.com/customer/PDF/UDP.pdf or we have hose constructions available in the 1-1/2" ID size that will not kink: https://www.abbottrubber.com/itemdetail/1820-1500 you will need a cuff if you use this hose to prevent leaking at the end: https://www.abbottrubber.com/itemdetail/?itemCode=1811-1500 Hope this helps.     Reinforced and sturdy

    Clamped onto the barbed fitting I have at the outlet of our sump pump dischage pipe outside. I took 37' of the hose and now the water is being pumped away from the foundation.
