They are most similar in size, shape, and texture to a chicken, beef, or turkey “tender” from a human food perspective (similar to a chicken tender you would find at a restaurant). However, some people refer to a “soft chew” as something more closely associated with a smaller-size product – similar to a training treat or daily supplement chew – which these are not.
