- A: Tomato plants function best in a 1.5 to 2 foot square space (2.5 to 4 square feet). A better option for 2 tomato plants in the same planter box is the DDP2168XL planter box that is 47.5 inches (4 feet) by 36 inches (3 feet). Another option is purchase 2 units of planter DDP-2168s which is nearly 2 feet by 2 feet and but 1 tomato plant in each planter box. Thank you for the question! My plants did amazing in this planter

The Raised Garden Planter from Zylina is easy to build and comes in natural wood. I painted my planter blue. It was simple to build and is a good medium size planter. Sturdy as well.

Easy to assemble planter

This planter was easy to assemble. You will need a screwdriver and possibly a rubber mallet which was not indicated in the online decription but wasn't a problem. I assembled it in about an hour. The height is nice and it's the perfect size for my herb garden.
