- A: Hi Robin: Thank you for your question! Although the Dog House does not come put together, there are only 4 steps to building the unit. The only item that requires a tool is the 8 screws to install the hinges so you can open the top of the dog house. I estimate it takes 15 to 30 minutes total to assemble. Thank you! Lovely and Ez up! But what about the dog?

I love it. Easy setup. Very nice look in our backyard, however, my dog hasn’t figured it out yet. Any hints to encourage him? It is the only shade until late afternoon and I keep a nice big water dish next to the doorway.

Damage to the Houses

I had a couple of problems with this purchase. 1) First house had a defect: the back piece had the lip broken off and couldn't place the floorboards on it. 2) Second house had the same problem, except it was on the front piece. So, since the TSC store still had the original house, I was able to swap the front pieces and was able to assemble the second house.
No, I do not recommend this product.
