If you’re big into cigars like me then you know that there’s a lot to be desired when it comes to an old school traditional cedar humidor that holds 100 cigars or less. The typical humidor that you see on your boss’s desk at work is typically a cheap, cedar-lined humidor with a glass window on the top and a lid that opens with a hinge. The problem with those humidors is that all of those gaps allow the temperature and humidity to fluctuate. You want a humidor with fairly tight tolerances to help keep the temperature and humidity in the humidor as consistent as possible. The temperature and humidity work together to keep your cigars fresh and tasting good. A good rule of thumb is that you want the inside of your humidor to be at 65 degrees Fahrenheit and 65% humidity. When you have temperatures and humidity levels that are higher than that then you risk your beloved and oftentimes very expensive cigars getting moldy, which ruins them. At temperatures and humidity levels lower than that then you have dry tobacco that’s rough to smoke and tastes stale. You also don’t experience the various tobacco flavors as you should, which is the main reason of smoking cigars. So, what you really want is a humidor that seals in the temperature and humidity as best as possible. People with money buy very expensive humidors that are of the utmost quality that could hold hundreds or thousands of cigars and cost the same. Other people looking for the tighter tolerances at a much lower cost turn to coolers. They’re known as coolerdors. They use them because they’re fairly inexpensive, hold hundreds, if not thousands of cigars and generally seal really well. That’s why it takes a long time for ice in them to melt in them, especially if you go with a Yeti cooler. So if you wanted to go all out you could get a Yeti Tundra to be your coolerdor. You would fill it up with your cigars, a bunch of Boveda humidifaction packets, and a SensorPush temperature a humidity sensor that would connect to your phone via Bluetooth so you could monitor the temperature and humidity readings inside of it every minute without having to open it. If you want something just as effective as a Tundra, but much cheaper because you can only store a hundred cigars or less then the Yeti GoBox 15 is perfect. That’s what I purchased. I bought it and filled the removable top tray with a bunch of Boveda Size 60 humidity packets. I filled the tray with as many as I could possibly fit so that I won’t have to replace them for a year or longer. I then put about 50 cigars in the bottom part below the tray. Some were in varnished boxes of 25 cigars. Some were cardboard three-packs and some were Tubos three-packs. I put a SensorPush HT.w temperature and humidity sensor in the bottom section with the cigars. I check my temperature and humidity levels daily. They remain very consistent. The GoBoxes are ideal because their lids seal extremely well. It has become the perfect humidor for my beloved CoRos. When I get more cigars I’ll just upgrade to the GoBox 30.

I bought this as I do dog shows. This is to put all my dogs stuff in it. I really like it. Now I am waiting to get the big one in blue to get the fans and other stuff in it ;) I already have tumble, several bottles and a cooler from Yeti, I really love your products...
