All boots within the Legacy collection are 100% waterproof. Each boot is made with our signature triple dipping technique, which creates a seamless barrier that is highly resistant to many organic and inorganic acids, chemicals and contaminants. Our latex neoprene is ozone resistant, and is softer, lighter, and far more pliable than ordinary rubber. Cushioned insoles with arch support help fight fatigue and stress on the legs and back. All XTRATUF Legacy boots come with a non-marking, slip-resistant Chevron outsole that provides unparalleled traction on any surface in the most extreme conditions. Insulated styles come with built-in Polymeric Foam insulation. The insulation package will keep your feet warm even when it is -10°F. Keep them rolled up or roll them down to show the Fireweed print in the interior lining.

- A: The shine/ wetness is a natural effect of the specific material we use on the upper that occurs during the last stages/ packing of our production process that will eventually go away on all boots. So, no way to bring it back.2 years ago

- A: Hello, We also have Legacy boots that can be rolled down (like the one you are viewing) that way they can still be worn if they are too tight around the calf area. We would recommend shopping our ankle boot collection that sits below the calf if you think that it may be an issue.2 years ago

Leaking water after just a few light uses

I have only worn these boots 4-5 times for a few hours. The second time I wore them to work on the oyster farm (after just using them around town for a couple of days) they started leaking water the second I got out of the truck into the water. I was shocked and so disappointed that my brand new boots were useless after only a few days of wear. Thankfully it was not a cold day and I had a backup pair of boots in the truck. The leak made for a pretty miserable day of work with one wet foot. I can’t even see where the water is coming from, but there is clearly an issue with waterproofing. Xtratuf used to be top notch for boots but I am afraid that the rumors of seriously questionable and poor quality I’ve heard among friends in the industry are true. My last pair of boots in this style lasted me 4-5 years until the tread wore down. This lack of waterproofing is totally unacceptable for a pretty much brand new pair of boots. Couldn’t be more disappointed in this pair, buyer beware this is not the same quality product of years past. :(

I bought these boots for my girlfriend’s birthday, and she absolutely loves the Alaskan fireweed pattern. Glad that Xtratuff has quality art available in some of their models.

Oddly comfy chore boot

These were a game changer. I have a high volume borderline D-E width foot so I was worried with the whole sizes. I wear a 7.5 normally but got an 8 and 9 to try. Ended up going with the 9 for if I wore thicker socks. Haven’t felt any spots that bugged me minus when it’s cold and they are folded over but that goes away after a bit
