Changed Recipe

The recipe changed recently from the can that was a browinsh orange color. The old version had more sweet potato puree and seemed more appetizing for my dog. My dog doesn't like this one as much.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Dogs love but lots of sodium

Loves the taste but I needed low sodium. This has a lot of salt. Unfortunate because my picky dog loves the taste, I guess so it's salty. :(

Misleading front label....

My tiny dog loves this formula but when I read the back label, in tiny print, it indicated the formula is for large dogs .. why didn't they indicate that on the front of the can?

Hi Pearl r, our Complete Health Turkey & Sweet Potato recipe is fine to feed to your tiny dog. The AAFCO nutritional statement on the back of the can states this recipe is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for growth & maintenance except for growth of large size dogs (70 lb. or more as an adult). This means it is not suited for growing puppies that will mature to 70 lbs. or more as an adult.
