- A: According to the vendor, the weight limit of the swing is 600 lbs. Also, to get the best life and play value from the swing it is recommended to bring the swing inside from the elements when the temperature hits freezing. My hubby bought this for our 8 yr old daughter & she fell in love with it instantly. I'm an overprotective mama & tend to only let my daughter on, in, or around safe situations. I feel completely content with her on this swing even without watching her. She puts throw pillows on it & plays games on her tablet or she'll read a book while looking so comfortable & at peace. I recommend any parent that have kids who are hyperactive to buy this swing. It tends to calm them down and just enjoy swinging gracefully. I even sit on it from time to time & so does my 300 lbs husband. Very safe, very relaxing. All around a great buy. Thank You for such a wonderful product that relaxes my daughter and allows a mother to witness her child enjoy a peaceful time swinging.
