I bought this because it was stainless steel so it wouldn't rust as all my silver-plated and cast aluminum spurs rusted over time. I was not looking for a show spur. This spur does the job well, doesnt rust when it gets wet or sits in the trailer for a while and has some feminine detail. If you are looking for a lower level show spur this would be great. The paint did appear to be over the edges where it shouldn't be as other reviewers said but the judge shouldn't be that close to your spurs to notice. Overall good spur.

Received these as a Christmas gift. Although they were fair quality for the most part, they are definitely way too big to be considered women's size. Also, on one of the spurs, the black paint was outside the lines and looked messy. Sadly returned and found another pair.

These spurs are solid, the rowell spins freely, I like them a lot. The only criticism I have is that the black paint isn't always in the low areas of the "engraving". Just a bit cheap looking in appearance. But since they're only for trail riding, not for show, they're fine.
