These reins are constructed of durable harness leather with a popper end. These reins have the stress points reinforced with heavy thread and have a keeper that easily slides to make rein adjustment effortless. They are 5/8 inch wide x 8 foot long, which is a great length for my Quarter Horse. They’re light russet in color, which I wasn’t sure I would like at first, but I lightly oiled them and they darkened up nicely. Plus, they match all of my Rockin’ SP Tack. I have always ridden in split reins until my trainer recommended these to me, and they have worked out great for us! I also really like the tie ends, which complement the rest of my tack. These reins can be used for training or showing, and are very easy to clean with leather cleaner and conditioner.
