Don't buy this calf halter

Bad design. Way too small and tight, even on 3 month old calf. So tight it took off hair on calf's nose.

I purchased 4 leather calf halters on line and had them shipped to our local store. I wasn't able find them locally (in store). The price was right, and they were delivered as stated in my order. Pick up was convenient. This was a very good purchase experience.

Nice but Small

We bought this recently for our kid to take a calf to the fair for "little dairymen" class. The calf was 4 months old, and this halter was so small there was no way it would ever fit. We decided to purchase from TSC because they are a sponsor at our fair.

not large enough

it says fits up to 250lb calf. our calf is 180lb and the strap was too short. I had to splice a piece of leather onto the headstrap to make it long enough. Very disappointed the head strap does not have a buckle on both sides, it would make fitting the halter to our calf much easier. the quality has been ok so far but it has not had not much use yet.
