For the price of this truck box to bad the logo wasn’t upside down

Purchased this product from tractor supply on a clearance sale. Product failed within a couple months. The weld started coming apart at the latch. After reporting the issue to Weather Guards warranty division, they had flat out, refused to warrantee. I ended up having to get the state attorney involved to force them to warranty the manufacturer defect of the welds, not being adequate. Once the state’s attorney issued them a letter Weather Guard issued me a replacement toolbox. They sent me the wrong size and a different finish than what I originally purchased. The paint finish on the replacement box is completely sub par at best, too much paint was used on this one and it’s finish is horrible looking. Now I’m left with a toolbox thats not the same as what I purchased originally and looks really poor quality. I would suggest not purchasing from this company as there is no quality control.

This company does not honor their warranty. Bought a Weather Guard toolbox at my local tractor supply brand new, reduced in price because they were trying to get rid of this brand from the shelves. Had a latch break on this thing not even after three months of use very little weight put inside of it. Very obvious that it’s a manufactured defect in the welding. Dealing with Weather Guards warranty department has been less than fruitful. I’ve been asked to send several dozen pictures and still have not satisfied them with the amount of pictures that I’ve taken, and at the end of it all they refuse to warrant it because it was sold to me at a discount. Filed a complaint with the attorney general's office in my state for consumer fraud. Hopefully I get some where with the authorities on this cause it not usable if I can’t lock it. I would’ve never bought this thing. Had I known that the manufacturer would not honor a warranty because the item was sold at a discount beyond ridiculous!

Weather Guard needs to work on their packaging. Went to two Tractor supplies and looked over 4 toolboxes before finding the one ultimately purchased. other 3 had bad shipping damage and it's ridiculous to spend $1300 dollars on a toolbox that isn't perfect out of the store. the non-damaged box works great and its lovely but shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get a non-destroyed one to start with.
