The WEATHER GUARD DEFENDER Model TR801-A Universal Truck Rack fits most full size and compact trucks. The easy clamp-on installation mounts to the top of the truck bed with no drilling required. Included with the rack are 4 ladder stops that slide into the top of the cross members. With a weight rating of 800 pounds, this ladder rack instantly extends the storage and hauling capabilities of any truck. Great for hauling ladders, lumber, pipe, and other large supplies.

Need to offer spare parts for product!!!

The rack is a good light duty rack, easy to install and remove when needed. But the ladder stops are light duty plastic and break easily and end caps that hold ladder stops on are plastic and don't secure in place as screw is a little short. Could be a nice rack if these parts had also been mad out of metal instead of plastic. If you are going to sell something, offer spare parts for the cheap plastic items.

Great product, Clamp style needs improvement.

I just bought this brand new although from an individual, not a retail outlet. 1st impression is this is a solid unit that goes together easily. My only negative comment would be that it would be an even better product if the mounting clamps were adjustable or came in different sizes for different bed styles. I had to make use of a totally different kind of clamp and although the racks are very secure, the clamps are a bit unsightly.

Does not work on Tacoma... Without buying / making new brackets this will not work. I do not see any options for Tacoma brackets for this product....

Bought a set, but only needed one to use with my headache rack and it worked great, looking for a way to anchor it in the rear stake pockets because of the tonneau cover.
