Q: Can the metal flooring be removed? Would the Tray be able to used as the floor of the cage (supporting an 8lb rabbit and not fall out? Also, can the shelf be adjust to any height.

Q: I am going to be a first time bunny caretaker and want to have a cage that the bottom tray can be removed without having to remove the bunny to clean. Would this be a good option for indoors?

- A: Thank you for your inquiry. The floor grate in the Living Room Series Rabbit Home, item #01930, sets on the plastic pull tray. So when you remove the tray, the floor grate slides out with it. You would be better off with the Ware Chew Proof Rabbit Cage 30", our item #00682. This is a chew proof cage and you can slide the pan out without sliding the wire floor grate out. EASY ASSEMBLY

WE BOUGHT THIS FOR OUR NEW BUNNY AND I WAS SURPRISED AT HOW EASY IT IS TO ASSEMBLE. THE TWO DOORS MAKE ACCESS EASY. THE ONLY THING I DON"T LIKE IS THAT THE BOTTOM FLOORING IS SUPPORTED BY THE LITTER TRAY SO YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE ANIMAL WHEN YOU PULL OUT THE PAN. THE COLOR OF THE METAL IS VERY PLEASING.
Yes, I recommend this product.
