- A: It is exactly what is pictured in the image. However, i had rats in mine and within a week of having this my rats were able to easily chew a hole right through the bottom tray and escaped. I ended up returning this cage!5 years agoHelpful?

Not as nice as picture. Bottom tray is not secure when in proper position. With little pressure it pops out the bottom. Door latches need to be constantly reshaped to lock it properly. I have no doubt our older ferret could escape this cage. Returning item

Very pleased with the cage. Only issue we have is a small area of rust on a brand new cage and one brake on a wheel broke easy. No big deal though. It is a good size. Wires are spaced close enough together (1/2 inch) that the rats cannot escape. Love the different levels. Lots of room for them to play and explore. Was easy enough to put together. Plenty of room for 3 female rats and their toys and 2 hammocks. The 2 doors make it easy to clean. Shelves and ramps are easy to clean. Good cage for climbers.

I bought this cage because it was a decent price for the space. However I quickly realized what a pain (literally) it would be each time I had to clean it and rehang hammocks etc. It took me over an hr and a half to clean this thing. If you can deal with that its a nice cage. I wish I had just bought a single critter nation and been done ugh. Ya live ya learn
